Rapid Fire Book Tag

This is my first book tag. I found this rapid fire book tag online and thought it would be fun to do! It was originally created by Girl Reading. You can watch her video here!

E-Book or Physical Book?
  • eBooks, I prefer eBooks over physical books because of convenience and accessibility. I wear prescription glasses and need to make the font bigger. You can do that with eBooks to get it to the just right size.
Paperback or Hardback?
  • Hardback books because they are more durable than paperback books. I really dislike a cracked spine in a book.
Online or In-Store Book Shopping?
  • I like both. When I do buy physical books I go to the local bookstore. Ebooks I tend to buy off of Amazon.
Trilogies or Series?
  • I like Series because many times I don’t want a good book to end.
Heroes or Villains?
  • Ultimately, I like the hero or a good redemption arc for a villain.
A book you want everyone to read?
  • Wow, this is really hard because I want people to read all the books I read so I can talk to someone about it. If I have to choose I would say is the Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett. Read my Review
Recommend an underrated book?
The last book you finished?
The Last Book You Bought?
Weirdest Thing You’ve Used as a Bookmark?
  • A paper napkin
Used Books: Yes or No?
  • No, because I don’t like when people write in the margins or under-line passages.
Top Three Favorite Genres?
  • Mystery/Thriller
  • Literary/General Fiction
  • Historical Fiction
Borrow or Buy?
  • Borrow, Duh I’m a librarian. Seriously, I love borrowing books especially ebooks since there are no fines attached.
Characters or Plot?
  • Both but leaning towards Plot
Long or Short Books?
  • Short Books less than 300 pages
Long or Short Chapters?
  • Short Chapters
Name The First Three Books You Think Of…
Books That Makes You Laugh or Cry?
  • None Yet
Our World or Fictional Worlds?
  • Both, the author has be to be great at world -building if it’s fictional.
Audiobooks: Yes or No?
  • Yes, just in recent years. I don’t like being read to because some people read too slow or fast. At least with an audiobook I can control the speed.
Do You Ever Judge a Book by its Cover?
  • Yes, and the back summary page. But the covers lately are beautifully designed.
Book to Movie or Book to TV Adaptations?
  • The TV adaptations are coming up and really enjoy them  a lot.
A Movie or TV-Show You Preferred to its Book?
Series or Standalone’s
  • I love both. However, if the standalone is good; then I would hope that it’s turned into a series.

Book Lover’s this was so much fun and easy. Let me know if you do it.

  1. What a great tag! Mystery/thriller is also my favorite genre and I prefer eBooks for the convenience. I’ve been meaning to check out The Darkest Child!
